Incorporated in August 2009 and is based in Amsterdam, BLENDER57 is a network organisation committed to the creative process and the development of relationships with world class partners. The team is led by the founder and CEO, Colin Lyon, formerly the SVP for the Global Brands Group and a 10 year Director at Nike. Additionally, BLENDER57 has partners from the worlds of brand marketing and communications, product design, intellectual property and consumer research. Our network structure allows BLENDER57 the flexibility to access the skills of partners best suited to deliver against specific projects, and to ensure innovative creative and business services for our brands and strategic partnerships.

Colin is an experienced International Business Director with strong leadership and communications skills and has over 30 years experience in the textile, fashion, sports and branded consumer goods industries. For over two and a half years prior to establishing BLENDER57 Colin was the Senior Vice President for Merchandising for Global Brands Group (GBG) and led the creation and development of the merchandising and product strategy for GBG’s portfolio of brands with particular focus on Fédération Intérnationale de Football Association (FIFA). In partnership with global retail and business partners Colin created the global merchandise and product strategy for the FIFA sports lifestyle brand at the same time developed the global merchandise strategy for the 2010 FIFA World Cup event. Previously, Colin spent over 10 years at Nike where he was the Business Director for several Nike categories, latterly Nike’s Global Football apparel business.

Colin’s early career was spent in the fashion industry, developing expertise in product creation, production engineering, supply chain management and brand management.

Colin has passion for people, the creative process and the importance of the consumer experience in the design, development and marketing of new consumer brands.
